Performance Assessment

ASTM E119 — Fire Tests of Building Construction and Materials

ASTM E119 evaluates the fire-resistance performance of building construction elements and assemblies when exposed to controlled standard fire conditions.

Test Procedure

End Result

The test establishes the duration for which the tested construction maintains the applicable fire-resistance performance requirements.

Scope
